Emma McGuire, Associate Partner, has over a decade of consulting experience spanning economic analysis, strategic planning, business planning, data visualization, and the development of dashboard tools. She is highly regarded for her ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, helping clients to make informed decisions. Alongside her strong technical skills, Emma excels in qualitative research and writing, delivering well-crafted reports and tailored strategies that resonate with clients.
Emma’s project work covers a wide array of sectors, including climate change adaptation, environmental sustainability, the blue economy, forestry, housing and population modeling, and labour market analysis. Her career has been shaped by her work with Indigenous communities, where she combines rigorous analysis with a deep respect for and sensitivity to community dynamics. This approach has helped her build trust and foster meaningful partnerships in her work. Emma is currently leading the development of a Climate Change Strategy for the Nunatsiavut Government, guiding a community-driven process to create a comprehensive strategy and implementation plan that reflects the region’s unique priorities.
Emma holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Ottawa, where her research focused on the effects of carbon pricing on vulnerable populations, including Indigenous communities. Emma holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Economics from Saint Mary's University, where she developed a strong foundation in economic analysis. Her ability to integrate both quantitative and qualitative insights ensures her clients benefit from well-rounded, impactful solutions that drive long-term social and economic outcomes.
